Sharie, thanks for the gift of your book. After reading the first couple pages, I can see I am going to enjoy it immensely. You do have a sense of humor I can tell. I'll comment again after I finish the book. God luck and blessings to you.

I met you and your family in Clayton and bought your book. I had no idea it would be so funny. My wife stole if from me when I was on the second chapter and she hasn't stopped laughing since. I guess I will have to buy another one on your website. Tell your husband I feel his pain.

Your column is the first thing I look for when we get our "Thousand Islands Sun." I laugh, I cry, I laugh some more!
Loved your first book and eagerly look forward to the next one, which hopefully will be typo-free!!
Keep writing and continue to tell it like it is here in the north country...

I got your book and I have to say that it is one of the funniest things I ever read. I passed it on to a friend who is now reading it. I am happy to see that we can now order online. Don't stop writing, ever. I also love the soldiers thing and I intend on ordering one for that. Is it in bookstores anywhere? Your website didn't say anything about that. It should be if it isn't.

I laughed all the way through the book. It's one I can pick up and reread selected stories for a pick-me-up when I need a chuckle. Thanks for the laughs in the book and each week in your column.

Acquired Ms. Derrickson's book at a US airport on my travels home. A rather fortunate event for me as I found it in a vacant seat, assuredly left by another traveler. Cheers to this new author. Any plans for international shipping? I had a bugger of a time upon looking for more copies in my neighborhood book store.
